The team at RCA are committed in helping you achieve your goals on the trail, no matter the level. Our fully accredited coaches are here to help whether you are just starting out on your mountain bike journey, building and developing skills, or are ready to crush the race scene.

SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM

Allow your child to develop key skills in balance, problem solving, independence and resilience by giving them time on the bike. Mountain bike riding is a fun way to experience adventure, without any pressure. Join us for a 2 hour session at the Sugarbag Road trails, with our fully accredited and licenced coaches. This course is suitable for children 7+ yrs.

Program Structure:

• Meet and greet with riders and parents to answer any lingering questions and concerns.

• Equipment check; safety is our number one priority, so before we start we check tyre pressures, helmets, and breaks.

• Let’s Ride! ; warm up, skills session and drills, a ride to put it all together, and the important wrap up to solidify what we’ve learnt.

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

The RCA after school program is a great option for children looking to gain knowledge around bikes, and improve skill on the trails.

We know that the best way to stay safe and confident on the bike is to get the basic skills right. Throughout this program your child will experience a variety of trails, working on body position, balance, foot position, breaking, and cornering.

The After School Program will run for 9 weeks, with each group broken into skill levels. This program is a great introduction for anyone looking to progress to our Race Academy.

RACE ACADEMY

The RCA Race Academy is an intensive 10-month program that is fully committed to enhancing both confidence and overall performance across the entire race roster. We conduct weekly training sessions designed specifically to develop essential skills and increase speed, while also providing support for riders who are actively competing in Enduro, Downhill, and XC races throughout Queensland.

We strongly encourage riders of all levels to participate in the exciting Rocky Trail Fox Superflow Series, where we will accompany you on the trails to ensure that you feel completely comfortable and confident in your riding abilities.

Our overarching goal is to elevate our riders to the prestigious State and National Championship level, and we are dedicated to supporting you in every possible way throughout your journey.

While the RCA Race Academy is not suitable for complete beginners, we take great pride in seeing our after-school and school holiday shredders progress and graduate into the higher levels of competition, and we are more than willing to welcome you into our community if racing is a part of your future plans.
